A steakhouse is a restaurant that specializes in cuts of meat that are grilled, smoked, or seared to perfection. Also known as chophouses, these restaurants will often serve chicken, seafood, and pork in addition to beef. Traditionally, steakhouses provide a cut of meat in addition to an array of side dishes. These side dishes can include anything from baked potatoes to grilled asparagus, or even macaroni and cheese.
If you’d like to dine out for a special occasion or a fun night on the town, here are some restaurants that the local residents of Rancho Cucamonga love!
Fleming’s Steakhouse (Our personal recommendation)
Conveniently located in the Victoria Gardens shopping mall, Fleming’s Steakhouse is a winner every time. Like a traditional steakhouse, the entree comes separately from the sides. We recommend trying the filet, lobster, or prime rib. And as far as the sides go, be sure to try the calamari, macaroni, or potatoes au gratin.
Paul Martin’s is a popular chain of restaurants with locations all over Southern California. But despite the fact of it being a rather large chain, it doesn’t look or feel like one. The ambiance is more like a traditional steakhouse. It’s dark with just the right amount of ambient lighting, which is great for special occasions. Additionally, the wait staff is known for their exceptional service.
If you come to this location you have to try their Ribeye – It’s what people talk about most. A few other things that Paul Martin’s American Grill is known for are their pork chops, macaroni and cheese, and bistro burger.
This romantic steakhouse is a date night favorite. They are best known for their prime rib and it’s what everyone comes for on the menu. However, they also have herb roasted chicken, pork chops, and pasta dishes as well. They’re also known for their happy hour, which lasts until 8pm daily. Finally, once a month, they also have a great wine tasting event as well!
