Upcoming Events In And Around Rancho Cucamonga

Rancho Cucamonga has some amazing events coming up in the next couple months. As we proceed into fall, temperatures are dropping and that means food, fall festivals, and soaking up all of the sunshine and crisp air that you can before the dark days of winter come. More serious events are happening to, and now is a great time to attend career fairs.

The WCU Career Fair is happening October 3 and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to come by and meet with some of the nation’s best health care employers. From 11 AM to noon recent graduates will enjoy a Graduate VIP hour where employers will only meet with prospective employees who have graduated in the last few months. It’s highly advisable to dress in business attire, be waiting at the door by 11 AM and bring plenty of copies of your resume.

There are several food and drink festivals happening in October, including EggFest 2017. The Big Green Egg is a high-quality grill that cooks up a mean BBQ. The makers of The Big Green Egg are hosting a festival in celebration of their customers and their success. Come to the EggFest for craft beer, live music, free cooking classes and lots of activities to keep the kids happy. All soft drinks, food and water are included in the price of the ticket.

One of the best parts of ushering in autumn is Oktoberfest! October 7-8th you can go celebrate the craft of making beer, eat delicious ethnic food, try traditional German dancing, play a variety of games or visit any of more than 40 vendors. Oktoberfest is amazing and so much fun. Best of all, the festival is free to attend and all ages are welcome.

The 6th Annual BierBuzz Masquerade is another celebration of beer, but you can go to this one dressed head to toe for Halloween. October 21st BierBuzz will host the festival where more than 20 different breweries and wineries will bring their rarest and best beer and wine that they’ve made just for this event. Costumes aren’t mandatory, but they are welcomed and encouraged.

After all that beer you’ll probably need to attend the Pura Lucha Taco Tailgate. Entry is free and so is parking, so come on down for tacos and more beer!

For those who love to attend something a little different, check out the Pageant of Pigeons on November 16. This show is one of the best pigeon shows in North America. The world-famous Los Angeles Pigeon Club has held the event every year since 1946. Come and see more than 4,000 show pigeons of over 100 breeds from all over the nation. Admission is free and families with children are welcome to attend.

Every Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM go to the local Farmer’s Market at the Victoria Gardens Mall. This event features handmade crafts from local vendors, fresh and healthy produce grown on small farms, local flavors and edibles and grass fed meats. This is a wonderful way to get very healthy food that goes straight from the farm to the table.
